ABOUT US
Omega Music is an independent record store located in the Historic Oregon District in downtown Dayton, Ohio. We have thousands of new and used LPs, 45s, CDs, cassettes, turntables, hi-fi audio equipment, incense, gifts, and more! We love to support local music and encourage local artists to bring their material in.
We were originally started as Omega Thrift'n Records in 1979 by Gary Staiger and have been family owned ever since. Always keen at seeing a good business opportunity, Gary ditched the pottery and trinkets to start Omega Music in 1983. Since then, Omega Music has been a Dayton staple and hub for music enthusiasts. We are proud members of the Coalition of Independent Music Stores. In 2019, Omega Music received the first perfect score from Dr. Disc in Goldmine Magazine. Come see what all the hype is about.
