Chet Baker Plays The Best of Lerner and Loewe is Chet Baker's 1959 concept album recorded for Riverside Records. Jazz legends reimagine timeless Broadway show tunes. The album features jazz legends Bill Evans, Pepper Adams, Herbie Mann and Zoot Sims. Cut from original analog master tapes by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio. 180-gram LP.

The first Gillian Welch & David Rawlings collaboration to feature both of their names, All The Good Times, a collection of 10 acoustic covers recorded at home, received a 2021 Grammy nomination for Best Folk Album. After a devastating tornado ravaged Nashville in the Spring of 2020 making their studio unusable, immediately followed by a global pandemic shutting down their community and touring livelihood, Welch and Rawlings were able to find the inspiration to set up recording equipment in their home living room and record ten performances on their reel-to-reel of some of their favorite songs from the likes of John Prine (“Hello In There”), Bob Dylan (“Abandoned Love”), Norman Blake (“Ginseng Sullivan”), and more. According to Uncut magazine, “The 10-song collection is the equivalent of being welcomed into Welch and Rawlings’ living room and the pair treating you to a private recital. In other words, it doesn’t get much better than this.”

A Day to Remember has announced their Fueled By Ramen debut. The announcement was coupled with the release of the album's latest single, "Brick Wall." The band's frontman Jeremy McKinnon discussed the big news, "It's finally here - almost! To all our fans around the world, we want to say, 'Thank you!' You've waited patiently, and we can't wait for you to hear this. There's a lot of detail in everything we do from the mixes to the artwork, because it all tells a story. So, we made sure each element was perfect. Every line happens for a reason. We took what we envision modern music to be and made a hybrid of who we were, who we are, and who we want to be. It took a lot of maneuvering to get it right, but we feel like we did. We're here now and very happy to present 'You're Welcome'."

Vinyl LP pressing. Time OutTakes contains previously unreleased takes from the original 1959 sessions master tapes. These newly discovered recordings feature wonderful performances that are every bit as compelling as those on the original Time Out. We discovered that during the original 1959 sessions the Quartet also recorded 'I'm In a Dancing Mood' and an unlisted trio jam with a major drum solo that included snatches of the melody from 'Watusi Drums.' Two tracks from Time Out, 'Pick Up Sticks' and 'Everybody's Jumpin,' were achieved in one take so no alternates exist to include here. These seven new performances (and bonus track) are fascinating finds.

Benny The Butcher

Burden Of Proof

Vinyl: $21.98 Buy

MP3 Album: $9.99 Download

There is no disputing that Benny the Butcher has arrived. With anticipation now at a fever pitch, Benny the Butcher puts a bow on his and Griselda's genre-shifting year with his new album Burden Of Proof; an album that aligns the best rapper alive, with the hottest producer (Hit-Boy) of 2020.Mastered by Guru, Burden of Proof is The Butcher's official level up. With Burden Of Proof, Benny took his time and holed up in LA with Hit-Boy to craft a masterpiece; and the one producer methodology, though a somewhat new concept for Benny, aids the albums musical variance, depth and diversity. It's still gritty and vintage, but coupled with the melodic and anthemic production of Hit-Boy; Benny's Pyrex vision raps have never sounded more festival ready."I always wanted to name my first album, The Most Anticipated, because that's always been my position and it's my position now. I've always been a dope artist from the hood, from the city, but I never really put out "the album" Benny commented. "I've recorded a lot of great music. Dope projects, mixtapes, features and people see me on that level to where when I deliver the album it has to be "that album" because expectations are high and I thrive under pressure. Burden Of Proof is that album. We worked hard on this project. I got a lot of input from the team. This is what I wanted to give the people; Burden Of Proof."

K-Pop's new diva, found in the jewelry box called `Querencia'.

Divas have a very special presence in the history of Korean popular music.

Kim Choo-ja, the most famous singer of the "Team Shin Jung-hyeon" that opened a new paradigm for psychedelic rock and soul in the late 1960s, presented radical and sensual charisma like Janis Joplin and Betty Davis. Kim Wan-sun led the age of the new wave K-Pop in the 80s and brought new wave rock and synthpop into the mainstream, opening a new era of never-before-seen dance music. The emergence of Uhm Jung Hwa led to even more trendy visuals and sensual music in the 90s, Lee Hyori brought authentic hip-hop and R&B into the mainstream, and BoA changed the paradigm for K-Pop by taking a leap as a global pop star. All divas deserve to be remembered as historical events that created turning points of the ages.

So who is the diva that will carry on this legacy in the current K-Pop scene? Seldomly occurring in the idol market that has been reestablished in group units over the past few years, CHUNG HA rose as a performer to capture the public's heart with her explosive energy, while making a name for herself as a solo vocalist with a captivating voice, proving her own potential with her career. Through collaborations with artists that belong to various music scenes and genres, from idols to R&B/hip-hop artists, and 88rising's Rich Brian, CHUNG HA has broadened her horizon and evolved. Her first official full-length album "Querencia" shows even bolder directionality and richer details in her musical endeavor.

Her official 21-track album encompasses various contemporary pop and dance music styles that cross the boundaries of house, Latin, afrobeat, and bass. "Querencia" is divided into four chapters based on the jump-off points of conceptual tracks in the themes of Noble, Savage, Unknown, and Pleasures. While the contrast of opposing and intense concepts that each of the chapters symbolize are grossing genres, they constitute CHUNG HA's artistic identity as she completes her own universe through complex and diverse narratives of emotion.

Junglepussy

Jp4

Vinyl: $20.98 Buy

With a name as bold as Junglepussy and an artistry to match, Shayna McHayle is New York's premier rap rule-breaker. Honest, funny, and freaky, her rhymes span from the explicitly audacious to the tenderly relatable. Her unfailingly confident flow accentuates her roots in Brooklyn (her parents are from Trinidad and Jamaica), and her bars land with cool impact. In the universe that is Junglepussy, relationships are complicated, vegetables are magic, and an excellently delivered flex on an ex is one punchline away. Jp4 is Junglepussy's stellar next phase. With contributions from vocalist Ian Isiah, rapper Gangsta Boo, and producers Dave Sitek and Nick Hook, Jp4 is Junglepussy ascended. After almost a decade of experimenting, Junglepussy feels she's finally living up to her name. The numerology of four, in it's foundational symbolism, is an apt frame for Jp 4. Over an eight year career, Junglepussy's music has led her to lecture at Yale and Columbia, create her own Junglepussy Juice, star in 2018 feature film Support The Girls, and embark on sold-out domestic and international tours. For Junglepussy, Jp4 is a culminating moment-one that holds the essence of closure while hinting at an exciting and expansive future.
