180G Classic Records (Mike Hobson) LP pressing of Dar William's first LP. Remixed version with the following text on the rear of the sleeve
The mixes on this LP are "audiophile remixes" which differ at times from the original mixes. Vintage analog equipment was used to remix from the original analog multi-track tapes. Eight songs were mixed on a Neeve mixing console down from 8 tracks to 1/2" analog tape pm a Studer A80 tape deck by Paul Dugre. The remaining three songs "Alleluia", "Traveling Again" and "When Sal's Burned Down" were remixed from the original 24 track tape by Rik Pekonnen in Ocean Way Studio 3 (where the Beach Boys recorded Pet Sounds) on a vintage Neeve console. The quality of the equipment used for the remixes has the effect of enhancing nuances in the recording that would otherwise be inaudible and hence contribute to the minor variations between these and other mixes. -- Mike Hobson"
