Liz Phair [Colored Vinyl] - Liz Phair

On her fourth studio album from 2003, indie icon Liz Phair presents herself with a sophisticated pop-rock sound. With the big radio hits "Why Can't I?" and the rousing anthem "Extraordinary", this self-titled album is an uncompromising leap into mainstream production. Though she moves away stylistically from her earlier work, Phair maintains her signature candid and witty songwriting style, tackling subjects like modern love and the complications of adult life with an infectious mix of pop hooks and rock confidence. A rebellious, essential album in her discography.
