Lovin' U - Fort Romeau [12"]

London-based DJ and producer Fort Romeau debuts on Rekids with the 'Lovin' U' EP. Opening the release, the title track beams sunshine through 8-bit melodies and a repeating, hypnotic vocal shot through with tasteful echoes, all underpinned by a tight drum groove. 'No Limit' dives into more of that endless depth, it's vocal sample floating over the groove as delectable piano keys bring the party. Closing things out, the Trip Mix of 'Breathe' eases the pace, snappy rhythms laying the foundation while dubby chords spring through a track built for daydreaming.Fort Romeau, aka Michael Greene, has spent more than a decade shaping a sound that blends deep house, hypnotic techno, and ambient influences.
