If Looks Could Kill - Dany Laj & The Looks [LP]

If Looks Could Kill is an album born from necessity. Following a lengthy western Canadian tour and a period of uncertainty about the future, Dany Laj found himself reconnecting with what had always guided him through life's noise: writing songs. The result is a deeply personal collection of songs shaped by reflection, frustration, resilience, and renewal. Written during a period of immense personal and societal change, the album captures the feeling of searching for clarity amid distraction, escaping expectations, and rediscovering the simple joy of creating something that feels honest. For Laj, the measure of a great guitar-and a great record-isn't it's pedigree or price tag, but whether it inspires something meaningful.
