Sugar [Black] - Tift Merritt

Grammy-nominated Tift Merritt has long been a torchbearer in Americana. Produced by Lawrence Rothman (Amanda Shires, Margo Price, Lucinda Williams), she returns with a 12-track LP that explores the beauty of coming back to one’s voice. These songs reclaim the value of craft, intention, and earned perspective, delivered with the raw lyricism that has defined Merritt’s career. The record is rooted in the honesty, grit, and emotional clarity that make her one of Americana’s most enduring storytellers.
