An undeniable presence in the pop-punk genre. Debbie downer x overkills is a collection of LOLO's first two EPs. She broke through with her overkill EP with fresh takes on awkward adolescence ("lonely and pathetic"), heartbreak ("hurt less"), and self-deprecation ("death wish"), causing People Magazine to describe her as an Emerging Artist. The songs "debbie downer" and the catchy "u turn me on (but u give me depression)" both are staples of the her electric live performances.
