Pre-Order: Chicano Poetry - Obed Padilla [LP]

Originally released on May 28, 2024 as a digital-only single on the heels of a viral short-form video Obed posted on Instagram. With Darondo's "Didn't I" as the foundation and his seemingly effortless delivery and swagger, the song took on a life of it's own and warranted a full-length production and release.Calling Oceanside, California home, the Mexican-American songwriter, rapper, producer, and guitarist blends coastal melodies, introspective lyricism, and Latin alternativ influences, drawing inspiration from J. Cole, Kid Cudi, the Beach Boys, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. A BMI Latin Spotlight artist with over 63 million TikTok post views, Padilla's latest EP, R O D E O C L O W N - A C T I, continues to blur the lines between faith, nostalgia, and modern West Coast storytelling.
