Mirrorwriting [Reissue] - Jamie Woon

Originally released in 2015, Jamie Woon's Making Time is a refined blend of soul, electronic production, and post-dubstep minimalism - a deeply textured and emotionally resonant record that builds on the foundations of his acclaimed debut Mirrorwriting. Emerging from London's forward-thinking electronic scene, Woon continues to evolve his signature sound, pairing sparse, atmospheric production with rich, soulful vocals. Making Time features standout tracks including ""Sharpness,"" ""Message,"" and ""Thunder,"" and showcases a more stripped-back and meditative direction in his songwriting and production. It was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize, underlining it's critical impact and standing as one of the era's most respected releases. This long-awaited vinyl repress brings it back to wax for the first time in years - a welcome return for collectors and fans of his understated, forward-thinking catalog.
